Murky

Hide your eyes
Cover your heart
Hide the workings
Of the writhing flesh
It fights the being
Of truth and light
Turning murky
The intended existence.
Between the cracks
Of provision and lack
The dye of doubt
Cast another shade.
For fear true color is shown
Charades go up.
Fragmented reveries
Dislocated feelings.
The mask will stay
‘til roots grow strong
Finding again
A veritable design.
